Founded in 2014 by Adi Eckhouse Barzilai and Aviv Mader, Realface has developed a facial recognition software that provides a biometric login service that allows users to log in to a mobile device or PC without having to enter a password.

According to the Israel Technology Corporation database, Realface has so far raised $1 million and employs up to 10 people, including China, Israel, Europe and the United States.

RealFace's first product is an app called Pickeez, which automatically picks the best photos from every platform the user is on.

In addition to RealFace, Apple has so far acquired three other Israeli companies. In 2011, Apple spent $400 million to acquire flash memory chip maker Anobit; in 2013, Apple acquired 3D sensor company PrimeSense for $345 million; in 2015, Apple acquired Israeli camera technology company LinX for about $20 million.
