Application of Laser Pavement Measuring Instrument

Background: The rapid development of high-grade highways in China has increased the demand for road surface inspection instruments. According to the provisions of the Ministry of Transport of the road surface defects, it is necessary to carry out follow-up inspections of the road's rutting and evenness. Exceeding the specified targets, the road surface must be repaired. Shop, this work should be completed by advanced and accurate scientific instruments. This is absolutely incompatible with China's road status as a big country. Recently, although there are developments, the accuracy, range, and functional diversity cannot satisfy the needs.
The laser road rutting measuring instrument is used for the measurement of rutting on asphalt pavement, which has the technological innovation and the advanced nature of technical and economic indicators:
a. Development and application of high angle laser angle sensor
The high angle laser angle sensor output has three advantages:
First, do a lot of work. As the maximum depth of the rutting depth of the asphalt pavement is greater than 10 cm, the laser sensor must be transmitted at a large angle. The commercial laser has a measuring range of only about 1cm. Therefore, the point light source must be converted into a planar light source, extending from the original 5° to 30°. This requires the use of a combined lens or “stacked lens”. The application can change the laser light path into planar light, so as to achieve the purpose of large-angle and large-scale measurement. This technology has independent intellectual property rights.
Second, the laser angle transmission is selected because the laser does not hit the road surface and the non-contact light measurement is performed. Therefore, the impact of the road surface cleanness on the laser accuracy is avoided.
Third, because the laser light surface is highly uniform and the transmission is correct, the accuracy can be improved, so the accuracy of the instrument is less than 1mm.
b. The combined application of large software packages realizes the purpose of complex calculation and multi-functional measurement of the instrument.
The software package has more than 30 formulas, and has been effectively arranged and combined to achieve the purpose of high-precision and multi-function output. This is still rare in domestic applications.
c, multi-purpose applications, easy to use
In addition to the measurement function, the instrument also has a printing function, a query history data function, a graphic zoom function, a communication function with a computer, a liquid crystal display function, and a switch remote control function. It also has a lateral rutting measurement function, and also has a longitudinal flatness measurement of the road surface. Functionality, so versatile in one machine, should be novel.
d, has the ability to pull out of historical data
Pulling out the original data is of great significance to the formation and development of ruts for research and development and to road surface destruction. This instrument can pull out all the original data in the full-scale road surface measurement, and can implement two-head docking on the full-scale road surface, but the foreign similar instruments can only output the final result, therefore, this brings convenience for practical, especially research.
