LEDtronics recently announced the introduction of new 5mm (T1) right-angled wing LEDs designed to provide backlighting for instrumentation equipment, making it easy for workers to observe the instrument's operating status. Solid-state circuit technology and rugged wing design allow LEDs to withstand the stress of automation and heavy-duty instruments. The lamp operates stably and has a long service life. Can be used to replace incandescent lamps of different voltage types (voltage 5V: 56, 79, 84, 86; 12/14V: 18, 37, 73, 74; 24/28V: 17, 85.)
This series of LEDs offers different structural options with one LED and two LEDs. Available color options include red (630 nm), orange (610 nm), pure yellow (590 nm), green (525 nm), pure blue (470 nm) and cool white (8000K). The standard drive voltage is 28V. Two-color models and other color models are also available depending on actual needs. These LED luminaires eliminate the inherent disadvantages of incandescent lamps, such as the easy burning of filaments, the need for frequent repairs and maintenance, and the problem of large heat generation. Since LEDs generate less heat during operation, they can be used continuously for a long time. In addition to being used on the instrument, it can also be used in alarms, emergency interfaces and status indications, especially in nuclear power plants, waste disposal stations and other similar facilities.
The solid-state design of the LED gives the LED excellent resistance to shock, vibration and frequent start-up. The average life of LED can reach more than 100,000 hours (equivalent to 11 years), more than 20 times that of ordinary lamps, and it is stable and maintenance-free. The maintenance costs saved by the operation can completely compensate for the original investment. LEDs are almost non-heating and consume only 10% to 20% of the power of conventional lamps, which makes them more environmentally friendly and meets the user's lighting budget.
