Blue Mountain Institute's latest report shows that more companies are adopting cloud services

Recently, PTC announced that cloud services are increasingly important to its customers, as evidenced by the benchmark report released last month by Blue Hill Research. The report shows that understanding and leveraging the potential of cloud services is critical to the transition to a more dynamic business model based on the Internet of Things (IoT).

The report, titled "PTC Cloud Services - Delivering on the Promise and ROI of Cloud Services," is based on the Blue Mountain Institute's June to July PTC and Written by a survey conducted by PTC Cloud Service customers. The report also points to the importance of the Internet of Things in cloud deployments, and most customers believe that the Internet of Things will be critical to the company's future growth in the next three to five years. Currently, the biggest driver of cloud service deployment is to enable enterprise IT teams to better serve internal customers. But customers are also expected to benefit from total cost of ownership (TCO) and return on investment (ROI).

Tony Rizzo, a resident entrepreneur at the Blue Mountains Institute, said: "In today's enterprise technology, the use of third-party cloud computing services brings many benefits, especially for companies that adopt an IoT strategy. PTC is developing and delivering The cloud option fully listened to customer opinions and market feedback. At the same time, it also has a good momentum in cloud adoption. Kevin Wrenn, general manager of PTC's PLM division, said: "Compared to last year, this year's PLM cloud service business has doubled, an increase of 10 times the overall market growth. It is encouraging that independent research institutions and customers. Both recognize the value and potential of the cloud."

The benchmark report shows that nearly 70% of respondents said that the ability to easily deploy PTC cloud services played a key role in the company's decision to purchase PTC products, demonstrating the tremendous value of investing in both PTC products and PTC cloud services.
