Google Announces Instant Instant Search Function Google Instant

Outside the telecommunications, Google Company put out the real-time search function on Wednesday, namely the accelerated search of the search result - Google Instant. New features can display search results when users start entering requirements.

The new feature, called "Google Real Time," is Google's closest product to the founder's search engine goal of "reading user ideas" for the past 12 years since its founding.

"I think this can be considered a new beginning of computing," Google's co-founder Sheikh Brin said at a press conference on Wednesday.

This measure means that Google users can see real-time search results related to input while typing. Google also tries to predict what users really want to find. In addition, Google will provide some other combinations of search conditions in the drop-down display.

This feature will be rolled out this week on the Google site in the United States and will be launched this year in other parts of the world. This feature is designed for the latest version of most popular web browsers.

Google’s search executive Marissa Mayer compared this innovation to Bob Dylan’s introduction of electric guitar in 1965.

Google hopes to use this real-time innovation to strengthen its leadership position in the search field in order to meet the challenges posed by the founding alliance between Yahoo and Microsoft. Currently Google accounts for 2/3 of the search market.

Google is known for its ability to provide search content in seconds. But Larry Page, another co-founder of Brin and Google, is still working to make Google's engine more responsive.

By accelerating search results, Google believes its users will love Google more and use Google more. This is very important for Google because each inquire represents a potential advertising opportunity, and advertising is Google’s $30 billion in annual revenue.

Google also pointed out that the current average search request takes 9 seconds to input, and then the user will spend about 15 seconds to select search results.

With the new features, Google is expected to help people reduce the time spent on search each year by about 350 million hours.
