Project Overview:
Donghuamen Street is located in the central area of ​​the capital Beijing. It is a national key cultural relics protection area and a key tourist area. In order to better display the history and culture of key areas, combined with the ancient architectural features of Donghuamen Street and the location of the ancient capital of the region to plan and design lighting solutions.
Donghuamen is the eastern side of the Forbidden City. It is located in the south of the Forbidden City and was built in the 18th year of Ming Yongle (1420). The Donghuamen Street Light Environment Planning and Design Project is located in the Imperial City of Beijing, on the southeast side of the Forbidden City, west of the River, the People's Cultural Palace, and the East Huangcheng City South Street. The area is located between the bustling Wangfujing Commercial Street and the secluded and insecure Forbidden City Wall. The unique urban environment creates a unique architectural environment with traditional residential areas in the area.
Donghuamen Street is about 400 meters east to Nanheyan Street, and the buildings on both sides of the street belong to the scope of this lighting design. Donghuamen Street belongs to a characteristic folk street in the Qing Dynasty during the Qing Dynasty. There are restaurants, department stores, tourism, houses, hotels, banks, etc. along the street. The business category is complete. It is a microcosm of the original old Beijing life. It has not been over-commercially rendered as a commercial street or a bar street. Maintaining a strong old Beijing folk style features a street block. At the same time, adjacent to the Forbidden City has a typical Beijing symbol.
The light environment of Donghuamen Street fits the temperament and folk customs of the old Beijing buildings along the street, improving the night street landscape light environment and serving residents and businesses. Low-power multi-point, using light and shadow changes to detail the architectural details and highlight the architectural posture, while avoiding the volume of the lamps.
