Toshiba Lighting Technology has added two 3.4W small LED bulbs to support the E17-type small bulb lighting device in the "E-CORE" LED Bulb series, which will be launched on February 5, 2010. Small bulbs with E17 lamp sockets have been used for a wide range of applications such as chandeliers, desk lamps, ceiling lamps (light fixtures installed on the ceiling), and wall lamps (light fixtures mounted on the wall). The company plans to replace the traditional market with LED bulbs, and strive to achieve a total of 1 million sales in 2010 alone.
Additional products include a "luminous color" product with a total luminous flux of 290 lm, and two "equivalent to the color of the bulb" with a total luminous flux of 220 lm.
