Toshiba Lighting Technology will launch 3.4W small LED bulb


Toshiba Lighting Technology has added two 3.4W small LED bulbs to support the E17-type small bulb lighting device in the "E-CORE" LED Bulb series, which will be launched on February 5, 2010. Small bulbs with E17 lamp sockets have been used for a wide range of applications such as chandeliers, desk lamps, ceiling lamps (light fixtures installed on the ceiling), and wall lamps (light fixtures mounted on the wall). The company plans to replace the traditional market with LED bulbs, and strive to achieve a total of 1 million sales in 2010 alone.

Additional products include a "luminous color" product with a total luminous flux of 290 lm, and two "equivalent to the color of the bulb" with a total luminous flux of 220 lm. The power consumption is 3.4 W. A dedicated LED module with a newly developed high-density package. Toshiba Lighting Technology said that if the electricity bill of each bulb is compared with the ordinary bulb (25W small xenon bulb) produced by the company, it can save about 8184 yen when the new product has a rated life of 20,000 hours. . In addition, Sharp and Panasonic have also launched LED bulbs that support the E17 lamp socket. According to the daylight color, the brightness of the three companies' products relative to the power consumption per watt (total luminous flux) is compared, Toshiba's lighting technology is 85.3 lm/W, Sharp is 68.9 lm/W, and Panasonic is 50.9 lm/W.
