What is IPC U.S. Printed Circuit Board Association

IPC The American Printed Circuit Board Association, whose earliest name was The Instiute of Printed Circuits, was founded in 1957. At the beginning there were only 6 members and it was a non-profit private academic society. Now it has become an international organization. The total number of group members participating in the industry has exceeded 1,500. Later, in December 1977, it was renamed "The Institute for Interconnecting and Packaging Electronic Circuits Electronic Circuit Interconnect and Packaging Association", but IPC is still used as an abbreviation without change.
