Innoviz announced that it will use this financing to complete product development for solid-state radar prototypes. Their first product is a high-definition solid-state laser radar (HD-SSL) that compares with the best and legacy radars available today. The company’s product cost is lower and its size is smaller. According to official information, their new products will reduce costs by reducing the number of component devices. The price of solid-state radar sensors will be less than US$100 in volume. The length, breadth and height will not exceed 5cm. Innoviz said that the company plans to launch samples of this product by the end of this year.
