Poland builds solar-powered bicycle lanes and emits blue light at night

The country of Poland sometimes does something very cool, for example, this bicycle path in the city of Prusskov. The bicycle lane uses luminous materials. During the day, it absorbs solar energy. At night it can continue to shine for 10 hours, allowing the cyclists to bathe in peaceful (slightly weird) blue light.

The construction of this lane is an engineering company named TPA sp. z oo, which focuses on future technology. It is reported that they chose blue color to match the landscape of Mazuri. There are large and small lakes scattered here. TPA sp. z oo hopes the road can be applied to larger projects such as highways. But so far, they can only be applied to bicycle lanes unless they can test the suitability of the material in the field. The company said that people may be able to see this kind of road quickly in Warsaw, the capital of Poland, and that the light it emits will be in many colors.
