LMl893 contains all the functions of data modulation and demodulation. Therefore, there are few external components in application. As long as the control unit and line coupling transformer are designed, the power line carrier communication system can be constructed. Typical application circuits are shown in the figure. The external control unit control system performs half-duplex communication and is responsible for data transmission and reception. Multi-end communication can be done in an encoded form so that the communication network can be formed by means of power lines.
