Solution based on four LED driver drivers

The STP4CMP is a charge pump-based quad LED driver designed for RGB illumination or LCD display backlighting. Supports forward voltage high to achieve 3.8V LED, working voltage 2.7V~5.5V, four currents can be programmed separately, maximum current 30mA, output current accuracy ±7%, current matching between channels is within ±4%, mainly used The backlight of the phone display and the RGB LED indicator drive.

The STP4CMP is a charge pump based on a 4-channel LED driver for RGB illumination or liquid crystal display backlighting. The STP4CMP is battery powered and has an input voltage of 2.7V to 5.5V. The device generates a regulated current sink with high channel-to-channel accuracy and can drive up to 4 LEDs. It can support up to 3.8V LEDs. To the voltage, the current sink for each channel can be set by 4 independent external resistors. Each channel is independently controlled. PWM control can be used directly on the 4 EN (switch) pin to provide brightness control. When enabled, the charge pump (small ceramic bucket capacitor between C1P and C1N) starts to operate and clamps VOUT with clamp voltage.

STEVAL-TLL012V1 Demo Board

The STEVAL-TLL012V1 demo board demonstrates the performance of the STP4CMP, a charge pump based on a 4-channel LED driver for RGB illumination or liquid crystal display backlighting. The device uses a battery with an input voltage of 2.7V~5.5V to generate a regulated current sink with high channel-to-channel accuracy and can drive up to 4 LEDs. The device can support up to 3.8V forward voltage LEDs. The current sink for each channel can be set using four independent external resistors. Each channel is independently controlled. PWM control can be applied directly to the 4 EN (switch) input to provide brightness control.
