Yang Yuanqing again reduced Lenovo's stock

Last Saturday, according to the information disclosed by the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, Yang Yuanqing, Chairman and CEO of Lenovo Group, reduced 20 million shares of Lenovo Group on Dec. 24, with an average cut price of HK$7.04 per share, representing a cash discount of approximately HK$204 million. Its shareholding in Legend Group also fell from 9.32% to 9.04%.

This time, Yang Yuanqing reduced Lenovo Group's shares for the third time this year, and was also the largest reduction. In February of this year, Yang Yuanqing twice reduced the total amount of about 1.6 million shares of the company and cashed in about 11 million Hong Kong dollars. In June of last year, Yang Yuanqing purchased about 8% of Lenovo Group’s shares from Legend Holdings’ parent company Lenovo Holdings, which cost a total of 3.15 billion Hong Kong dollars. Yang Yuanqing also became Lenovo’s largest individual shareholder.
