Interview before IIC-China 2010 exhibitors: Century Minsheng
IIC-China 2010 will be launched in March this year in Shenzhen (March 4-5), Chengdu (March 11-12), and Shanghai (March 15-16). 1. Introduction and latest developments of Century Livelihood
Century Minsheng is an integrated circuit design company under the high-tech business group of Yulong Enterprise Group. It focuses on the development of products in the field of video and communication multimedia. Its long-term goal is to provide customers with a comprehensive system-on-a-chip solution. The development products include Giga Ethernet, optical fiber communication, VoIP, etc., and provide IP authorization and cooperative product development for cutting-edge mixing video and voice equipment. Century Minsheng's microcontrollers (MCU) and on-screen displays (OSD) on monitors have a high global market share and provide customers with complete solutions on flat-panel displays.
In recent years, more active development of automotive microcontrollers such as car audio (Car Audio) control, video display (Car Video) control, dashboard control, and reversing radar control applications. Other video products include flat display controllers (Scaler + ADC + OSD + TCON + LVDS ...), timing controllers (TCON), low voltage differential signals (LVDS), and video encoder / decoder (Video Decoder / Encoder) chips.
2. The areas of concern of Century Minsheng

5. Under the current economic situation, how does Century Minsheng view these new products and their application market prospects?
In view of the instability of the global financial economy and the uncertainty of market estimates, the company adopts a more conservative approach. For new products, on the 8-bit flash MCU embedded platform, industrial-grade standards will be introduced one after another. ICs with different value-added functions will develop more customer bases for automotive and industrial applications on the existing basis; for the application of optical fiber, the application of 1.25G GePON currently being promoted will continue, and the application of 2.5G GPON will also be launched. Samples, provide customers with better cost performance, further expand their influence and market share; the car CAN Bus designed by the company for the science and technology plan has also been sent to the car last year according to the plan and passed the actual measurement. Automotive ICs have laid a more solid foundation.
