In an interview at the Mobile World Congress, Petro said that this is exactly what Qualcomm's new product RF360 strives to achieve. Qualcomm hopes to sell this product to mobile phone manufacturers. Petro said in the interview that Qualcomm is solving a problem called "LTE fragmentation".
Petro said: "LTE is the first technology that can exist in different regions of the world. The problem is that the frequencies in different regions are completely different. If Petro's prediction becomes a reality, then in theory, users can use it on the US 4G network after purchasing mobile phones in Europe.
